Size Range: Girls 0 to 6T

Use the BETTY dress pattern to sew a  comfortable girls dress with a gathered waist. It is designed to be made in a soft stretch fabric with a regular sewing machine. Best of all this dress sewing pattern includes options for a short or long sleeve, making it the perfect pattern for all seasons. 

SIZE RANGE: This sewing pattern is multi-sized and comes in sizes 0 to 6T (See the sizing chart in the last thumbnail)
FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: It can be made in jersey or stretch interlock fabrics and is easy to make. Don't worry if you don't have a serger as I give you lots of tips for sewing with stretch on a regular machine.

Perfect Comfy Little Dress

I was looking to make a dress/legging set for my little granddaughter. This pattern was perfect. I used a serger for the construction and a binding attachment with my cover stitch machine to do the binding on the neckline. I used my cover stitch machine to finish the sleeves and the dress hem. The suggestion to use 1/4 inch clear elastic to gather the dress is genius! Although I have been sewing for 30+ years, I only recently started sewing using knit fabric over the past year. I appreciated all the extra suggestions for sewing with knits. The instructions were detailed and very easy to follow. One of the best printable patterns I've purchased online.

Great pattern. Adorable dress

I made the short sleeve dress. Printing the pattern was easy using the layer feature. The instructions were very clear. The dress came out adorable.
