This color-blocked leotard pattern is ideal for all your dance and gymnastic competitions and classes. Designed with a flattering low leg line and striking stripe through the middle, it is sure to impress judges and classmates alike. It can also be used as a stylish swimsuit pattern. 

My instructions are aimed at beginners with a regular sewing machine and use a simple zig-zag stitch. You will be amazed how much money you will save once you can sew your own leotards!

SIZE RANGE: This leotard pattern is multi-sized and comes in sizes 2 to 14 for girls. See the sizing chart in the last thumbnail.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: This pattern is designed for stretch fabric with at least 75% stretch in both directions such as dance and swimwear lycra.

Girls Leotard Pattern #12

I really like the pattern and have completed one so far for my grand daughter in New Zealand. Plan to make a few more to take with when we go to visit in October. She has asked me if I can make one with a "wavy" sleeve. Just wondering if you can recommend a pattern or advise how I can create one?

Fun pattern, easy to sew

This a very well fitting, easy to sew pattern! I really didn't have to adjust anything.
It's nice to change colors, combine fabrics, or make it shiny with hotfix stones.
