The beauty of these leotard patterns lie in its simplicity. This is the ideal workout leotard for ballet, dance or gymnastics and is great for showing off your favorite fabric. Options include a simple or gathered neck.

My instructions are aimed at beginners with a regular sewing machine and use a simple zig-zag stitch. You will be amazed how much money you will save once you can sew your own leotards!

BONUS - This pattern includes the ballet wrap skirt pictured.

SIZE RANGE: These leotard patterns are multi-sized and come in sizes 2 to 14 for girls. See the sizing chart in the last thumbnail.


FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: This pattern is designed for stretch fabric with at least 75% stretch in both directions such as dance and swimwear lycra.

Great Start

Got an hour or so? You can make a little girl very happy with this pattern. True to size, easy to sew. I used scraps for the trial and even so it was a hit. Now she gets to go fabric shopping.

Awesome pattern!!

My daughter goes back to dance class after nearly a year off due to lockdowns. I wanted to have a go at making her dance uniform as I have sooooo much fabric!! Was really pleased with the result. Simple pattern and a very quick sew. She now has 4 leotards and matching skirt sets one for each session! Also made some swimsuits using the leotard pattern too!
